About our Work
In this evolution of the American Archetypes collection, McGregor reinterprets the utilitarian icons of mid-century Americana through the refined lens of modern luxury. Drawing inspiration from vintage gas cans, varsity lettering, and mechanical precision, each design embodies a tactile narrative of function and pride. The first concept — with its matte rubberized flip-top cap and industrial hinge — channels the practicality of a portable fuel flask, reimagined in Hilfiger blue glass. The second introduces vertical ribbing, echoing the texture of classic automotive design, while maintaining a sleek architectural silhouette. The third, a monolithic “H” formed in heavy embossed glass, stands as both logo and structure — a sculptural emblem of identity. Finally, the striped, high-gloss variant translates the brand’s racing heritage into a minimalist study of color, proportion, and polish. Together, these explorations bridge craftsmanship and nostalgia — honoring American ingenuity while distilling it into pure, geometric modernism.
