About our Work
Expanding on the American Archetypes project, McGregor continued his exploration of national symbols reinterpreted through modern industrial design. These additional fragrance concepts draw from Tommy Hilfiger’s unmistakable visual DNA — the red, white, and blue flag transformed into architecture for scent. Each iteration refines the language of Americana: from the precision of ribbon-wrapped geometry to the tactile elasticity of woven textiles stretched over glass. The designs celebrate both craftsmanship and cultural code — where fashion iconography meets product design discipline. McGregor’s use of bold horizontals and crisp chromatic balance evokes varsity heritage, nautical heritage, and the optimism of 1990s youth culture, distilled into pure form. Whether through a fabric-clad sleeve or the subtle layering of flag motifs within transparent glass, these bottles embody the brand’s timeless duality — casual yet polished, classic yet forever new.
