Designed by McGregor in 2023, the Easy Easy Chair 011 is a study in refined restraint—an exploration of how minimal gesture can deliver maximum presence. This low lounge chair pairs a visually weightless steel frame with sculpted, turned-wood armrests that intentionally pierce and intersect the metal structure, creating quiet, architectural moments where material meets intent. The seat and back are formed from monotone painted bent plywood, softened with tailored upholstery that feels both sleek and inviting. Every line and junction is considered, resulting in a chair that is casual in posture yet sophisticated in execution. Light in appearance but grounded in craftsmanship, the Easy Easy Chair 011 reflects McGregor’s ongoing pursuit of clarity, balance, and poetic functionality in contemporary furniture design.
