About our Work

For the Japanese-inspired Kintsugi fragrance line by K3, McGregor sculpted a vessel that embodies the poetic tension between fragility and resilience. The bottle’s organic silhouette flows seamlessly from molten cap to glass body, echoing the gesture of liquid gold repairing porcelain — a modern interpretation of the ancient Kintsugi art form. The fluid twist at the neck creates a continuous motion, as if glass and metal were folded together in a single, elegant breath. A soft gold ombré radiates warmth through the glass, grounding the piece in quiet opulence. Each cap, in tones of ivory, obsidian, or celadon, is veined with gold — a nod to the Japanese philosophy of beauty through imperfection. The minimalist KE insignia is delicately embossed into the surface, merging identity with material. This design transforms a fragrance bottle into a sculptural meditation on rebirth — a luminous object that captures Kenzo Takada’s legacy of harmony, craftsmanship, and soulful modernity.
