F/W 2016About our Work
Lance McGregor’s conceptual exploration for Off-White channels the brand’s fascination with recontextualizing everyday archetypes. Here, a simple disposable juice sachet—an object of transience—is reborn in thick, weighty glass, subverting notions of luxury through form and material. The design captures Virgil Abloh’s dialogue between the industrial and the refined: an exposed red atomizer punctuates the clear block, while the brand’s unmistakable typography and graphic precision assert Off-White’s intellectual minimalism. The result is both object and commentary—a sculptural embodiment of the Off-White philosophy that thrives in the “grey area between black and white,” where art, design, and culture collide.
