A study in sculptural refinement, McGregor’s concept for Jo Malone reimagines the home diffuser as an object of quiet luxury. The spherical vessel, composed of glazed ceramic and veined marble, is cradled within polished gold arms and anchored by a tactile rope handle — a gesture of both utility and grace. Beneath its serene exterior lies a complex duo-scent system, allowing a seamless blend of fragrances controlled through an elegant analogue dial. In rejecting digital touchpoints, the design restores the ritual of scent to the hand — personal, sensory, and human. The piece exists as both instrument and artifact: a fusion of craftsmanship and technology, poised between the worlds of fine object and modern machine.
