Since 2011, McGregor has collaborated with global icon Nicki Minaj to craft a series of fragrance vessels that fuse pop culture, sculpture, and self-mythology. From the debut Pink Friday—a celebration of playful femininity rendered in blush tones and gold—to the sleek architectural glamour of Onika and the gem-studded confidence of Minajesty, each design captures a distinct facet of Minaj’s evolving persona. The later works, including Chun-Li, draw inspiration from mythology and strength, merging high fashion and fantasy in metallic lacquer and bold chromatic contrasts. Across more than a decade of collaboration, McGregor transformed the perfume bottle into a portrait medium—each bust a sculptural incarnation of identity, attitude, and performance. These objects stand not merely as commercial artifacts, but as cultural totems: exuberant, iconic, and unapologetically powerful—embodying the dual forces of art and celebrity in three-dimensional form.
