About our Work

For Kate Spade New York, Lance McGregor envisioned a playful world of sculptural optimism—an exploration of form, color, and personality through object design. Each concept translates the brand’s signature wit and femininity into tangible, collectible forms: oversized bows, fabric flourishes, and confectionary silhouettes that merge whimsy with luxury. A voluminous satin ribbon wraps around a glass cube, pinned beneath a gold plaque like a spontaneous flourish of couture. Polka-dot grosgrain bows crown elegant tapered flacons, evoking the joyful polish of a Fifth Avenue accessory. Elsewhere, a gleaming cone of stripes and whipped-cream swirl transforms the perfume bottle into a modern pop sculpture—half fragrance, half fantasy. Together, these designs capture the spirit of Kate Spade: charming, confident, and forever ready to surprise.
