About our Work
At heart, McGregor approaches design as a sculptor — driven by the desire to transform the familiar into the extraordinary. The invitation to reinterpret these irresistibly soft, huggable forms in the permanence of glass became an act of metamorphosis rather than mere translation. What emerged was a dialogue between softness and solidity, between the fleeting comfort of plush and the enduring brilliance of glass. Each curve, fold, and seam was treated not simply as surface detail, but as a gesture of memory — a whisper of the originals, suspended in light. In this transformation, the tender becomes timeless: warmth rendered in luminosity, play recast as poise. The resulting works carry forward the spirit of their cuddly counterparts yet stand apart as luminous sculptures — poetic relics that radiate wonder, inviting both reflection and touch.
